France’s national competition authority has approved La Française des Jeux’s (FDJ) acquisition of Kindred Group, subject to certain conditions.
The competition regulator, l’Autorité de la concurrence, said in its decision published on Friday (13 September) that the acquisition of Kindred Group by FDJ creates the risk of unfair competition in the gaming market by combining and cross-selling Kindred’s commercial gaming offering with FDJ’s commercial and monopoly activities.
