Sales of the Illinois Lottery increased by 12 per cent to $325.8 million in May, the sixth consecutive month with sales above $300 million.
Instant win sales were up by 9 per cent to $187.2 million and accounted for 58 per cent of monthly sales.
Mega Millions had a 62 per cent rise in sales to $13.3 million, its best monthly total since August 2023, while Powerball sales slipped by 8 per cent to $9.6 million.
