The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) has posted a marginal increase in turnover to HK$304.9 billion (€35.3 billion) for its financial year ended 30 June 2024, generating a record HK$40.1 billion for the Hong Kong government.
The operator said that it faced significant external challenges during the year, including the difficult macro-economic environment, the increasing threat of illegal gambling and rising competition from Macau casinos.
