Sports wagers in Ohio jumped by 44 per to $476.9 million in July, but were below $500 million for the first time this year.
All of the wagering growth came from online sports betting, which recorded a 46 per cent year-on-year increase to $466.6 million.
Retail betting in Ohio was down 11 per cent to $10.2 million in July, the state’s lowest monthly total since launch in January 2023.
