New York’s mobile sports betting grew by 29 per cent in August to $1.44 billion, as the battle for market share intensified.
DraftKings overtook FanDuel for the first time since May and posted handle of $526.7 million for the month, beating its rival’s total of $511.6 million.
FanDuel actually had the better year-on-year growth of 25 per cent, versus 18 per cent for DraftKings.
