Maryland’s licensed sports betting operators enjoyed a strong month in August as total wagers increased by 43 per cent to $377.4 million.
Growth was driven by a 47 per cent increase in mobile sports wagers to $368.4 million, which offset a 33 per cent fall in retail wagers to just under $9.0 million.
