Meridianbet awarded South African sports betting licence

Golden Matrix Group subsidiary Meridianbet has been granted a sports betting licence in South Africa by the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board.

The licence will enable the operator to offer online sports betting to players across South Africa, with the company also securing a manufacturer licence, which enables it to deploy its proprietary sports betting technology in the market.
