The Swedish Gaming Authority has handed down penalties to Svenska Spel and two bingo hall operators for unlicensed gambling.
Swedish gambling regulator Spelinspektionen has issued a warning and imposed a SEK2 million (approx. €175,000) penalty on Svenska Spel for providing games without the necessary licence on land-based slot machines.
As the state-owned gaming operator, Svenska Spel is licensed to provide slots games through its Vegas gaming machines at land-based venues, including bingo halls.
