SkyCity Entertainment names new CFO

New Zealand’s SkyCity Entertainment Group has appointed Peter Fredricson as its new chief financial officer (CFO).

Fredricson will take on the role on 5 August, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals, and will work alongside incumbent CFO Julie Amey until September.

Fredricson joins the casino operator following an extensive career across Asia and Australasia in a number of sectors, including financial services, investment banking, listed energy and infrastructure.

“I am pleased to have someone of Peter’s calibre and experience joining the SkyCity team,” said SkyCity CEO Jason Walbridge. “Peter will play an important role in delivering the company’s strategic plan.”

Shares in SkyCity Entertainment Group Ltd (NZE:SKC) closed 1.32 per cent higher at NZ$1.53 per share in Wellington Wednesday.
