Konami Gaming strengthens North America sales team

Konami Gaming has appointed former Aristocrat executive Chris Rowe as vice president of North American game sales.

Rowe joins Konami Gaming after an 18-year career at gaming supplier Aristocrat, during which time he rose from a marketing specialist to managing director of Aristocrat Latin America.

In his new role, Rowe will be responsible for leading the growth of Konami’s game sales in the United States and Canada.

Alongside the new appointment, Konami has promoted Shane Thompson to director of sales with responsibility for managing and developing business relationships with key corporate casino customers.

Thompson has been with Konami Gaming since 2020, most recently serving as senior account executive.

“For years, Chris Rowe has cultivated an outstanding leadership ability to strengthen customer relationships and achieve growth objectives, throughout vastly diverse global markets,” said Jay Bertsch, senior vice president and chief commercial officer at Konami Gaming. 

“This senior management appointment, along with Shane Thompson’s promotion to director of sales, corporate accounts, is in effort to further deepen our ongoing commitment to casinos we serve.”

Shares in Konami Gaming parent Konami Group Corp. (TYO:9766) gained 2.14 per cent to close at JP¥12,660.00 per share in Tokyo Thursday.
