Playtech rolls out casino content with Betway in South Africa

Playtech has expanded its partnership with Super Group-owned operator Betway to launch its online casino games and live casino products in South Africa.

The integration onto the Betway platform in South Africa follows a multi-year agreement between the two companies in May 2022, which initially saw Playtech’s casino content go live with the operator in the United Kingdom, Mexico and .com markets.

“Betway is a brand renowned for delivering an excellent player experience internationally and we are thrilled to extend our successful partnership into the South African market,” said Playtech senior commercial director Diane Crookes. “Our collaborations in multiple key markets have been incredibly successful, and we are confident that South Africa will be no exception.

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) were trading 0.98 per cent higher at 637.21 pence per share in London Wednesday morning, while shares in Super Group Ltd (NYSE:SGHC) closed 2.64 per cent higher at $3.50 in New York Tuesday.
