Scientific Games continues Louisiana Lottery scratch-off partnership

Scientific Games has agreed an extension to its contract to serve as the primary provider of scratch-off games to the Louisiana Lottery.

Scientific Games has worked with the Louisiana Lottery since 2004 and recently rolled out a range of games with new play styles and Louisiana-centric themes for the Lottery.

Higher price point scratch-offs have also been added to the lottery's portfolio, including its first $20 game, part of the X family of games.

These have put Louisiana Lottery on course for one of its best instant games sales performances in its history this year, having sold its first scratch-off game in 1991.

"This has been a collaborative partnership to responsibly grow our scratch-off products for the benefit of K-12 public education in Louisiana," said Louisiana Lottery president and CEO Rose Hudson. “In the past several years, we have worked with Scientific Games to look at the full portfolio of games and adjust the game mechanics that build better games with more variety for our players.”
