Gaming Innovation Group to relaunch The Football Pools online

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has signed a long-term deal to launch a new UK-facing sportsbook and iGaming platform for The Football Pools.

Previously powered by FSB, the pool betting operator will migrate its online offering to GiG’s SportX and CoreX platforms to relaunch The Pools online.

The agreement marks the debut of GiG’s X-Suite solutions into the UK market for the first time.

“I am delighted that The Football Pools, a brand with such heritage in the UK market, have chosen GiG to power their ambitious online growth plans,” said GiG chief business officer Andrew Cochrane. “We have gained a significant headwind with our X-Suite in regulated markets around the world since launch earlier this year, providing a springboard for us to leverage our vast wealth of experience in the UK market, a market we know extremely well, to help power revenue growth.

“I’m extremely optimistic about the continued success of our strategy to increase our B2B market share in key regulated European markets.”

Shares in Gaming Innovation Group Inc (OSL:GIG) were trading at NOK29.75 per share in Oslo Thursday.
