Kambi has completed the migration of LiveScore Group's UK-facing Virgin Bet brand to its sportsbook platform.

The pair initially penned a long-term agreement in October 2023, and in May, Kambi and LiveScore launched the LiveScore Bet sportsbook in the UK and Ireland.

Virgin Bet was originally launched in 2019 by the Gamesys Group in collaboration with SBTech. That launch came in the same year that LiveScore Bet spun off from Gamesys.

“We are proud to announce this landmark migration for Kambi in the UK with Virgin Bet, a hugely popular and well-established brand that shares our commitment to delivering the highest calibre of sports betting experiences,” said Erik Lögdberg, managing director at Kambi.

“We look forward to continuing to work closely together, combining Kambi’s technical and sportsbook expertise with that of LiveScore’s in-house product teams as we drive ongoing growth in their target markets.”

Sam Sadi, LiveScore Group CEO, commented: “Offering Virgin Bet customers the strongest possible range of products and services is a priority for us, and having a top-tier sportsbook in place is a core part of this.

“After the success of our partnership on LiveScore Bet, we are pleased to have further extended our work with Kambi as we look to further grow Virgin Bet’s footprint in the UK market.”

Shares in Kambi Group plc (STO:KAMBI) were trading 1.12 per cent higher at SEK126.90 per share in Stockholm Wednesday morning.

The company's shares have gained over 20 per cent in the past week since the release of results for the second quarter.
