DraftKings unveils third retail sportsbook in Kentucky with The Mint

DraftKings has unveiled a new retail sportsbook at The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green in Kentucky.

Located inside the Post Time Race & Sports Lounge, the sportsbook features six kiosks, two over-the-counter windows, and more than 30 TV screens to watch the sporting action.

An additional two kiosks are located on the main gaming floor, as well as another over-the-counter window at the Player’s Club.

“We are proud to team up with DraftKings to bring retail sports betting to The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green,” said Jim Mahnesmith, general manager of the facility. “Especially with the launching of football and the approaching baseball playoffs, the new in-person DraftKings Sportsbook will be a wildly popular additional entertainment option not just for the Post Time Race & Sports Lounge and The Mint, but the entire Bowling Green area.”

DraftKings first partnered The Mint to launch its online sportsbook in the state in September 2023, alongside retail sportsbooks at The Mint Gaming Hall at Cumberland and Cumberland Run.

Shares in DraftKings Inc (NASDAQ:DKNG) closed 0.39 per cent higher at $38.59 per share in New York Thursday.
