IGT seals long-term Ohio Lottery VLT systems deal

International Game Technology (IGT) has won a contract to provide the Ohio Lottery Commission's video lottery terminal (VLT) central monitoring system.

Following a competitive bidding process, the new long-term contract runs until 30 June 2033, with the option to renew the contract for up to two additional one-year terms.

The deal will see IGT provide its advanced Intelligen central monitoring system hardware and software to the lottery, with continual monitoring and support for more than 10,000 VLT machines across seven racing casinos in Ohio.

This includes Belterra Park Cincinnati, Eldorado Scioto Downs, Jack Thistledown Racino, Hollywood Gaming Dayton Raceway, Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley Race Course, MGM Northfield Park and Miami Valley Gaming.

Shares in International Game Technology plc (NYSE:IGT) closed marginally lower by 0.34 per cent to $20.23 per share in New York Wednesday.
